TYRANT POUTING OVER HIS 2020 LOSS
Statement from the Fulton County Democratic Party
Let’s be clear about what is happening and what is not.
An FBI search warrant tied to the 2020 election was executed today at a Fulton County election facility, nearly six years after that election was certified, audited, recounted, litigated, and upheld.
Donald Trump did not just lose Georgia in 2020. He was crushed in Fulton County.
Joe Biden received roughly 73% of the vote in Fulton County to Trump’s 26%, a margin of more than 240,000 votes. That is not close. That is not suspicious. That is decisive.
Trump then proceeded to lose over 60 court cases across the country, including cases brought before Republican-appointed judges, state courts, and federal courts. Recounts and audits confirmed the results again and again.
What followed was not accountability. It was harassment.
The never-ending challenges to Fulton County elections
This is not one concern. It is a years-long campaign to keep questioning results that have already been confirmed.
1. Post-Election Lawsuits and Recounts (Late 2020–2021)
- Georgia conducted a full hand recount, followed by additional audits.
- Results were reaffirmed multiple times.
- Courts at every level rejected claims of fraud.
- No court found evidence sufficient to overturn results.
Outcome: Trump lost the first, second and third time in Georgia: at the ballot box, in recounts, and in court
2. The “Suitcase Ballots” Lie (2020–2023)
- False claims alleged secret ballots were pulled from under tables.
- Video evidence was reviewed repeatedly.
- State investigators confirmed ballots were standard, secured ballot containers.
- Election workers were publicly named, harassed, and threatened.
Outcome: Fulton County election workers were subjected to years of threats, racial abuse, stalking, and lies after being falsely accused of election fraud. Two of those workers, Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, ultimately won a $148 million defamation judgment against Rudy Giuliani for knowingly spreading false claims about their actions. A jury found those lies were not mistakes. They were deliberate.
3. Mass Voter Challenges (2021–2024)
- Activists filed thousands of voter challenges, many targeting Black and urban voters.
- Challenges were often filed during federally protected quiet periods.
- Courts rejected attempts to remove voters en masse without individualized evidence.
Outcome: The vast majority of challenged voters remained legally registered, mass challenges were rejected, and attempts to purge voters failed
4. Defamation and Intimidation of Election Workers
- Election workers were falsely accused of crimes.
- They received death threats and endured years of harassment.
- A jury later awarded $148 million in damages after finding the accusations were knowingly false.
Outcome: Courts confirmed the accusations were false, damages were awarded, and the intimidation campaign was legally recognized as harmful and unlawful.
5. Election Board Interference (2023–Present)
- Repeated efforts to install election deniers on the Fulton County election board.
- Pressure campaigns against county commissioners.
- Threats of fines and jail time for refusing to rubber-stamp nominees.
Outcome: Republicans failed to gain immediate control of the election board, but continue using litigation to pressure and intimidate local officials rather than nominate qualified candidates. There is an ongoing legal standoff over control of election certification.
6. DOJ and State-Level Record Demands (2024–2026)
- Georgia State Election Board escalated demands for 2020 records.
- DOJ filed suit seeking access to sealed ballots.
- No fraud allegation was made.
Outcome: No fraud has been alleged, no evidence has been found, and the dispute remains a records fight, not proof of wrongdoing.
7. The Latest Claim: “300,000 Ballots With No Signatures”
This claim is misleading by design. What is being referenced:
- Ballots themselves do not carry voter signatures.
- Signatures appear on absentee ballot envelopes, not the ballots.
- Once ballots are accepted and separated from envelopes, they are anonymous by law.
This process:
- Is required to protect voter privacy.
- Has been upheld repeatedly by courts.
- Was reviewed during audits and recounts.
- Calling these “unsigned ballots” is intentional deception.
Outcome: The claim collapses under basic election law. It reflects either ignorance of election procedures or deliberate misrepresentation. No ballots were invalidated.
The pattern is the point
Every challenge follows the same script:
- Make a technical claim sound scandalous.
- Ignore how elections actually work.
- Lose in court.
- Move to the next claim without acknowledging the loss.
- Say the system is corrupt because it won’t validate the lie.
This is a tired, wanna-be tyrant’’s refusal to accept defeat.

Fulton County elections have been:
- Recounted
- Audited
- Investigated
- Litigated
- Reviewed by Republican and Democratic officials
- Examined by state and federal authorities
Actions
What can we do? Plenty. Raise hell.
- It’s our job to continue correcting the narrative when under attack from small men acting like kings.
- Call Governor Kemp (404) 656-1776) and Sec. of State Brad Raffensperger (404-656-2881) and DEMAND they continue affirming the soundness of the 2020 election. This impacts their record, too.
- Continue supporting your Fulton County election workers and your Fulton County Commissioners who fight everyday for free and fair elections.
- Demand your municipal and state representatives show up for us and our elections. Demand they introduce legislation to protect our data and rights!
Donald Trump still lost. Badly. And now he is using the FBI to terrorize Fulton County AGAIN because he lost.
The only thing that has not been accepted is that fact. This is not about finding the truth.
It is about exhausting the system until people stop defending it. This is not about election integrity. It never has been. It is about an old man who cannot accept that he lost and a political movement that would rather terrorize election workers than earn votes.
Fulton County elections have survived audits, recounts, lawsuits, state scrutiny, federal scrutiny, and relentless political attacks. Every time, the facts have held. The results have held. The law has held.
What has not held is the pride of a man who still insists he won an election he lost badly.
You do not rewrite history by harassing public servants.You do not intimidate Black voters into surrendering their power. Fulton County voters spoke clearly. The courts answered repeatedly. The facts are settled.
The only unresolved issue is why people who claim to love the Constitution refuse to accept the most basic rule of democracy: sometimes you lose.

Rally Against Republican Silence on Trump and Musk’s Agenda
It’s another week of Donald Trump and Elon Musk stripping our country for parts in order to finance tax handouts for themselves and their billionaire friends – and another week of Georgia Republicans failing to stand up to them on behalf of Georgians.
This week, Brian Kemp praised Trump’s executive order “closing” the Department of Education but remained noticeably silent on how Georgians would be absorbing any loss of the $2.2 billion in federal funding the state received for public education in 2024. Kemp and Georgia Republicans also did nothing when Trump and Musk erased funding already promised to 100 Atlanta public school teachers. This is on top of the hundreds of Georgia jobs lost, millions in funding from our universities slashed, and hospitals, and Social Security offices closed that Georgia Republicans have co-signed by doing nothing.
So remember: 2028 is a long ways away, but 2026 is around the corner. We can’t kick Trump out of office next year, but we can kick out his enablers here in Georgia. Let’s make Georgia Republicans pay at the ballot box for selling our state out to Trump, Musk, and their billionaire friends. Keep organizing, keep making noise, and keep holding your Republican representatives accountable.
Crossover Day is behind us, and while most of the harmful voting bills our Voter Protection team was monitoring this session did not advance, Republicans still have an opportunity to insert any of these bad bills or new policies into the bills that did advance. DPG remains on the lookout for such bills as well as any other proposals that codify the GOP’s voter suppression priorities and will be ready to advocate against these measures when they are introduced.

Brian Kemp and Georgia Republicans continue allowing Donald Trump and Elon Musk to take a wrecking ball to Georgia.
- Every day, Donald Trump and Elon Musk make a reckless funding cut or decimate a program that Georgians rely on – and every day, Brian Kemp and Georgia Republicans are letting them do it.
- In 2024, Georgia received $2.2 billion in federal funding for public education, and yet Brian Kemp praised Trump “closing” the Department of Education.
- Kemp and Georgia Republicans said nothing when Trump and Musk erased funding already promised to 100 Atlanta public school teachers, and eliminated research grants that are supporting dozens of jobs at universities across the state. That’s right: Trump slashed Georgia teachers’ pay, and Georgia Republicans said nothing.
- Georgia Republicans have already allowed Trump to eliminate hundreds of Georgia jobs, cut millions in research funding from our universities and hospitals, and close Social Security offices across our state.
- Georgians need leaders who will stand up to any president when their agenda hurts our state. Kemp and Georgia Republicans’ craven refusal to stand up to Trump is costing Georgians their jobs and livelihoods.
While Republicans continue to hide from their constituents because they can’t justify their support for the Trump/Musk agenda, Georgia Democrats continue to show up.
- Georgia Republicans from Mike Collins to Buddy Carter to Austin Scott are clearly following the McCormick Rule – an order from the National Republican Campaign Committee to stop holding town halls altogether after angry constituents confronted Rich McCormick (GA-7) about his support for mass layoffs in Georgia at a town hall last month.
- Meanwhile, Senator Reverend Warnock, Congresswoman Nikema Williams, and Congressman Hank Johnson all held town halls this week to hear from Georgians about how they’re being impacted by the Trump/Musk agenda. Georgia’s entire Democratic Congressional delegation also voted no on Republicans’ budget that would further dismantle and defund the programs Georgians rely on.
- Hiding from constituents is not a good look, and Georgia Democrats will continue to hold Republicans accountable whether they have the guts to face voters or not.
- “Georgia Democrats Rally Against Republican Silence on Trump and Musk’s Agenda: A Call to Action for 2026”
- The message criticizes Donald Trump and Elon Musk for negatively impacting Georgia’s economy and public services while highlighting the inaction of Georgia Republicans, particularly Governor Brian Kemp.
