Register for the first time

If you’ll be 18 by Election Day and are a Georgia resident, you can register today. It only takes a few minutes online.

  • Register online with a GA ID
  • Register by mail with a paper form
  • Register in person at the county office

Who can register in Georgia

U.S. citizen

You must be a citizen of the United States.

Georgia resident

A legal resident of your Fulton County address.

18 by Election Day

You can register at 17½ and vote once you turn 18.

Eligible status

Not serving a sentence for a felony conviction.

Registration deadline

Register or update your address by this date to vote in the November election.
