Under the Charter of the Democratic Party of Georgia, the State Committee is the highest authority of the State Party and is composed of regular and ex-officio members. Its regular members are the State Party Officers; all Executive Committee members; members elected by County Committees, divided as equally as possible according to gender; thirty members named by the State Chair; and one member of each approved Affiliate organization.
