FCDP Renee Nicole Good ICE Shooting

FCDP Renee Nicole Good ICE Shooting

We are outraged by the killing of Renee Nicole Good, a mother, daughter, and U.S. citizen, shot and killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis. Accountability is not anti-law enforcement—it is essential to public trust and public safety.

Initial federal statements conflict with publicly available video footage. What is clear: this incident raises serious questions about use of lethal force, escalation protocols, and agent decision-making in dense urban areas.

Reports that bystanders were prevented from rendering aid are deeply troubling.

Federal agencies cannot investigate themselves in cases involving civilian deaths without robust independent oversight.

We demand:

  • Full public release of all video, audio, and written reports
  • A collaborative investigation with shared authority between federal and state officials—not federal self-review with token state consultation
  • Clear accounting of use-of-force standards and post-incident protocols

Communities deserve answers, transparency, and assurance that power exercised in their name is bound by law and humanity.
