Fulton Dems Guide To No Kings 3

Fulton Dems Guide To No Kings 3

Next week, millions will mobilize nationwide to push back on the Trump regime’s escalating abuses of power. With nearly 3,000 events planned, No Kings 3 is set to be one of the largest protests in U.S. history. Whether this is your first protest or your fiftieth, here’s how to show up ready and make it count. Let’s start with what matters most: Protest works.

As historian Timothy Snyder put it:

“Protesting isn’t just symbolic, it matters.

It makes it harder for the government to do bad things…

It shows other people that this is not normal.”

Two individuals are on a split screen video call, each in front of bookshelves. The person on the left is wearing a blue top and the person on the right, a black top. Both appear engaged.

Watch the full conversation on what ordinary people can do to resist and push back.

When you show up, you increase public pressure, signal that people are paying attention, and remind others that they are not alone. Political science research shows that when a small percentage of the population mobilizes consistently, it can force real political change.

The “3.5% rule” suggests that nonviolent protests at this scale mean an authoritarian government is likely to fall from power.

In the U.S., that’s roughly 11–12 million people. That kind of turnout doesn’t happen on its own. It happens when individuals decide to show up.

In October, 7 million people participated in No Kings 2. Since then, Trump’s sent his secret police to terrorize our communities, his federal agents killed Renee Good and Alex Pretti, he attacked Venezuela, and launched the unconstitutional war on Iran. More people are paying attention now, and realizing what’s at stake.

This is our moment to send a clear message: America Has No King. But you don’t have to attend the main downtown march to take part. There are 20+ No Kings events across metro Atlanta, including several right here in Fulton County. In fact, Fulton Dems will be hosting, partnering, or showing up at peaceful protests across the county.

Protest is an act of love.
– Congressman John Lewis
